Easter Pictures & My Crazy Toddler

Easter was a really good, relaxing day. We had our usual Sunday breakfast and later went to my parents for a late lunch and Easter egg hunt. Cam did really good! It was him and my almost 5 year old cousin (the only little ones in our family). There were 108 eggs..18 had quarters! They made out like crazy and had a blast doing it, my dad decided he will be adding that tradition to the list-along with him dressing like Santa on Christmas Eve every year! This week has been so great with Cam, he has adjusted to being back home with me during the day and now Monday I have to go back to school! I SO do not want to go back..I just keep telling myself "Only a month and a half left til summer", but it doesn't work. I can't wait to be done and take time off before getting my nursing career going. I love being home with Cam and having "Mommy & Cam Fun Time" Oh ya, Cam has decided to start jumping off of our furniture! He is so crazy and jumps from our side table onto the couch or from the couch to the floor! I got some on video before trying to explain to him that he can't do it(even if it is so cute to see how daring he is becoming). Here's a little clip:
I was unable to get many good Easter pictures of Cam looking at the camera, due to his lack of interest..
Here are a few from our play date with Amanda, Makenna, and Kellen...Boy is it difficult getting 3 children under 3 to sit still and all look at the camera-it didn't help that both Amanda and myself had our cameras out and were calling out all their names to get them to look. Cameron absolutely adores Kellen, he is constantly touching him and hugging him! It melts my heart and practically brings me to tears. We can't wait to give him a little baby brother or sister, someday! The Easter bunny brought Cam a Mr. Potato Head in his basket and he LOVES it! He puts the pieces on himself more than the head, but it is so cute! This is a picture I was able to capture, I had to chase him down and make him stand still to get it, WELL worth it!

New Goals

I'm back! I am really bad at this, basically because it is new and I forget or don't have the time. But I am setting a new goal for myself to update this thing at least once a week...keep your fingers crossed!

Things are hectic: I'm on Spring Break and I get to spend every day with Cam...I was looking forward to it; taking him to the park, SeaWorld, walks, ice cream, EVERYTHING...well he has been such a butt lately! He throws these temper tantrums and hits and cries constantly! I feel awful and have to give myself a timeout before punishing him out of anger. Thankfully, today Amanda came over with her little ones and I was able to talk to her about it and as always got some great advice and help!

Hopefully next week will be MUCH better! Or I'm gonna hire a nanny for the summer..hehe no not really.

It's been forever...

I know I haven't updated this thing in forever. We moved! and then had a difficult time with getting our deposit back from the old property manager. So I have been super busy:
I started second semester..and man it isn't getting any easier. I will be only having school 4 days a week now: Monday & Friday will be theory days Tuesday & Wednesday will be clinical. My first clinical rotation is at Kaiser in the post partum unit from 1500-2330. I am really excited to be working nights. But I will be missing dinner and goodnight hugs and kisses from Cam :(
Speaking of Cam, he still isn't sleeping through the night and in fact has started sleeping back in bed with us. He got sick a few weeks ago so we let him sleep with us for comfort and now everynight at about midnight he wakes up and will only go back to bed with us. I am so exhausted! He pushes me off the bed.

As soon as I have a few extra minutes I will post all our Christmas pictures and our trip to the snow!

We got the place!

Yep, we got it! We went and signed the lease yesterday. And we move in the weekend of Dec. 12...I am thrilled-I love moving! Bobby-not so thrilled. I am hoping to go pick up the keys and start moving most of the boxes and little stuff before he even gets off work. It would be awesome to have everything besides the huge heavy stuff but I'm not going to hold my breath. I will post pictures of it that weekend! 20 days til we move!

Cam and Cupcakes

Cam is sick. Its just a cold, but I feel so bad! He coughs so hard he throws up, his nose is so runny that when he sees me get a tissue he runs and hides. Its kindof cute. But I want to be able to be home with him when he feels crummy. I know he is totally fine with my mom, but I feel like I should be there with him. Hopefully he starts feeling better this weekend.

On a happier note: I made cupcakes tonight. Its our one month anniversary of marriage! Cheesey I know. Bobby brought roses home. <3>

Oh and still no news on the new place. Hopefully tomorrow!

New Place

We have outgrown our place. We moved in over 2 1/2 years ago when it was just Bobby and myself. We got 2 bedrooms for a computer/guest room, the room then became Cam's when we found out I was pregnant. Toys are everywhere, we don't have a bathroom downstairs (and it is a pain with a toddler to run upstairs to pee), we need a washer/dryer for ourselves, and somewhat of a patio/yard. I have been IN LOVE with these townhomes a little closer to Bobby's work, my school, and my parents for sometime now. My parents do work for someone that just put theirs up for rent and offered for us to look at it and apply before listing it online. We love it and it would be perfect for us! I rushed to get the application filled out yesterday and to the property manager before closing-today my mom asked, "Did you put Bobby's truck loan on the app?" ....ummm....NO! I totally spaced! I called ASAP to let them know and the girl had already left for the day. So now I don't think we are going to find out until at least Monday or even get it. They might think I tried to hide it. I am soo bummed. I want to get our 30 days in so we can hopefully move before Christmas. I will keep you updated! Cross your fingers!

Sleep

Oh precious sleep...since starting school in August Cam has stopped sleeping through the night. He wakes up at least twice every night. I know that now he is waking up because his system is used to it and to break it I have to let him cry it out. But he screams! And we can't let our neighbors be woken up by him. I really feel like I will never get a full nights sleep ever again at this point. If anyone knows any tricks besides letting him scream it out I am willing to give it a shot.
